Second Grade 1968

Mrs. Lucente was our beloved second grade teacher at Thomas Hill School in Waltham 1968 - 1969. I was a shy and small little girl and Mrs. Lucente made me feel like a was the most special child she knew! She was a warm and kind teacher and we all thought, "very pretty". Jerry was a quiet and polite little boy who was also in this second grade class, and all these years later Jerry and I will be married in August of this year. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Mrs. Lucente knew this! We will always remember Mrs. Lucente as we glance at our 1968 class picture that is framed and hangs in our home. I am now a kindergarten teacher of 25 years. I like to think I chose this profession because of the kindess and joy all my elementary teachers made me feel, especially Mrs. Lucente. Rest in Peace Mrs. Lucente. You have touched many lives. Love, Jacqui (Sicotte) and Jerry Cappadona.
