Obituary for Americo Ferro

Americo  Ferro
Of Waltham passed away Wednesday, November, 25, 2015 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 89.

Born and raised in Waltham to the late Salvatore and Carmela (Buindo) Ferro, he was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

Americo served honorably in the United States Army during World War II. He served as a Military Policeman and received the American Campaign Medal, The Army of Occupation Medal, the EAME Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Ferro was very patriotic and proud of his military service.

After Mr. Ferro left the Army he got a job working for Raytheon Co. in Waltham where he worked for over thirty years in the shipping department.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Olga (Tomao) Ferro of Waltham, and mnay nieces and nephews. He was the loving father of the late Robert Ferro.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service at Calvary Cemetery, Monday, November 30 at 11 a.m. Brasco & Sons Memorial assisted the family with arrangements For guestbook, please visit www.BrascoFuneralHome.com.
