Obituary for Barbara Joan Kessler (Scalise)

Barbara Joan  Kessler (Scalise)
Of Hooksett, NH, formerly of Natick and Newton passed away, Monday, February, 16, 2015, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was 74.

Born in Newton, May 17, 1940 to the late Joseph and Mary (Rossi) Scalise, she grew up in Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School. Mrs. Spent time living in Natick until moving to Hooksett in 2001.

Barbara was a longtime member of the New Hampshire Railroad Society, and served as their membership chairperson. Above all else Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband Allen Kessler of Hooksett, NH, her devoted children Jerry Pomerleau and his wife Tricia of Chelmsford, MA, Michael Pomerleau and his wife Terri of Litchfield, NH, Marie Pomerleau and her wife Heather MacMaster of Malden, MA, John Pomerleau of Hudson, NH, Sean Kessler and his wife Luciana of Holden, MA, and Meegan Natarelli of Natick, MA, her brother Jody Scalise of Charlemont, MA, and her niece Diana Joy of Hooksett, NH. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Sunny Scalise and the mother-in-law of the late Anthony Natarelli.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Barbara's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Monday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
