Of Waltham, passed away peacefully early Saturday afternoon October 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 86.

Born on September 24, 1927 in Waltham; daughter of the late William and Alice (Laughlin) Manion, Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

Family was the most important aspect of Marjorie's life as a devoted and loving homemaker to her family.

Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Smith and cherished mother of the late Mary E. Cardillo.

She is survived by her devoted & loving children Theresa Ann Smith of Arlington, William J. Smith of Framingham, Sharon M. Smith of Douglas, and John M. Smith of Waltham. In addition she is survived by her brother Robert Manion of Marlborough, and several nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Wednesday evening Oct. 30th from 5 - 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service in celebration of Marjorie's Life at 7:45 p.m.
