Evelyn (Lisa) Susi
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully early Monday afternoon September 4th, 2017 at the Waban Health Care Center in Newton at the age of 90.
Born on June 30, 1927 in Belmont; daughter of the late Antonio and Frances (Culigi) Lisa, Evelyn was a resident of Waltham for most of her life.
During World War II, Evelyn worked at the Watertown Arsenal and then went on to work as a Dietary Aide at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She worked at the family restaurant throughout her life. Evelyn loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
She loved to travel, go shopping and baking. Evelyn travelled to Italy many times; she went with her grandchildren to Disney World several times a year and went numerous cruises.
Beloved wife of the late Nerio Susi.
She is survived by her devoted & loving daughter Mary Ann Crane and her husband Ronald of Hudson, her cherished grandchildren Jeannie Crane and her husband Sean Daly of Tewksbury, Karen Crane of Hudson, and Joseph Susi of New Hampshire, and her adored great grandchildren Camren, Hunter, Liam, Natalie, and Nataly and her dear sister Lucy Costabile and her husband Joseph of Wilmington. In addition she is survived by many nieces & nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her loving son Joseph Susi and her cherished granddaughter Dianna Susi.
A Graveside Funeral Service in celebration of Evelyn’s Life was held PRIVATE for her family at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
The Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels of WALTHAM assisted the family with arrangements.
