Obituary for Robert Francis Fitzpatrick

Of Sudbury formerly of Waltham, passed away Sunday morning, June 4, 2017 at the Sudbury Pine Extended Care Facility. He was 88.

Born in Cambridge, to his loving mother the late Elizabeth A. Fitzpatrick, he was a longtime resident of Waltham.

He worked for 30 years as a pressman for Container Corp. in Medford, and 16 years as a security guard at Raytheon Corp. in Waltham.

Robert was an avid fisherman and loved watching the Patriots and Bruins especially while smoking a cigar.
He was the beloved husband of the late Myrtle (Bennett) Fitzpatrick and step-father of the late Walter Kneeland, Paul Kneeland, Janice Sheaff, Dana Kneeland.

He is survived by his devoted daughter Robyn Tiberio and her husband Ralph of Austin, TX, and his brothers and sisters Paul Franson of FL, Shirley Ray of MA, Mary Jones of MA, Richard Franson of VA, David Franson of VA, Ruth Black of NH, and Martha Vernille of TN. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Robert's life was held for the immediate family.
