Of Waltham, passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, May 21, 2017 at the Genesis of Wakefield Nursing Home. He was 72.
Born and raised in Waltham to the late Joseph and Eugenie (Belliveau) Connolly, Walter was a lifelong resident of Waltham.
He is survived by his devoted wife Elizabeth "Beth" (Rennie) Connolly of Waltham, his beloved sons William Walter Connolly and his wife Debra (DeLosa) of Nashua, John Walter Connolly and his companion Iryna Yakimovich of Waltham, and James Walter Connolly and his wife Rhonda (Murray) of Waltham, his daughter-in-law Diane Connolly of Framingham, his brother Paul Connolly and his wife Carol of Mattapoisett, his cherished grandchildren Christopher, William, Jr. Christine, John Jr., James Jr., Matthew, Erin, Shannon, April, and Fiona, and his great grandchildren Ryan and the future Matthew Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Joseph, and Marie Connolly.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Walter's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Thursday at 7 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 5 - 7 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
