Of Belmont, passed away peacefully Friday morning October 30th, 2015 with her loving family by her side at Neville Place in Cambridge at the age of 94.
Born on June 2, 1921 in Boston; daughter of the late Antonio and Jennie (Alizio) Inferrera, Sadie was a lifelong resident of Belmont.
A graduate of Belmont High School, Sadie was employed as a Secretary for the union at the Raytheon Corporation for many years.
Throughout her life Sadie was athletic, she enjoyed swimming, playing tennis, bowling and even playing softball into her 80's. She was named most athletic while attending Belmont High School. She had a passion for knitting, dancing and traveling.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post #1272 in Belmont. For years Sadie and her late husband were very active with the V.F.W.
Beloved wife of the late Salvatore A. Tardivo.
Sadie is survived by her devoted & loving children Phyllis Patterson and her husband Robert of Watertown and Steven C. Tardivo and his wife Jane of Belmont, her cherished grandchildren James and Timothy Patterson, Laura Maida and her husband Steven, and Nicole Tardivo, and her adoring great grandchildren Rachel, Robbie and Leah Patterson.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Sadie's Life in the Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Rd, BELMONT on Wednesday evening Nov. 4th at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
