Mary F. Cummings

Of Watertown passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 19, 1950, in Brighton, she was the oldest daughter of the late Charles E. Cummings Sr. and Catherine (Winters) Cummings. Mary was raised and educated in the Allston section of Boston and had been a resident of Watertown for the past 33 years.

A graduate of Brighton High School, Mary had been employed as an administrator in the construction industry throughout her life. Most recently, Mary had been employed at the Beech Street Center in Belmont.

Family was always the most important aspect of her life. She cherished the time spent with family and never missed a family gathering.

Mary is survived by her devoted and loving siblings: Catherine Bartolomucci (John) of Watertown, John Cummings (Christine) of Dedham, Joseph Cummings (Carol) of Easton, and her dear friend Annette Dayie of Brighton. She was predeceased by her brother Charles E. Cummings. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Mary and her family may do so at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Wednesday, March 8th from 4pm - 7pm. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Parish, 43 Holton Street, Allston on Thursday, March 9th at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Woburn.
