Frances "Fran" L. Saez
Of Newton, passed away Saturday February 18th, 2023 with loving family by her side at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a period of declining health. She was 70.
Fran was born on June 11, 1952 in New York; daughter of the late Frank G. Lake Sr. and Catherine (Johnson) Lake. She was raised in New York and had resided in Waltham for most of her life until moving to Newton 25 years ago.
Fran had been employed at the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham and Fox Drugstore in Newton for many years.
Family was always first and foremost to Fran; she cherished every moment spent with her children and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted & loving children John Saez of Boston; Marcelo Saez Jr and his wife Michelle of CT.; and Linette Saez Castro of Newton; her cherished grandchildren Connor, Jayden and Cailyn; and her dear siblings Henry, Frankie, Jacob and Liz.
She was sister of the late Kathy and Georgianna.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Fran and her family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday afternoon March 4th from 1pm until 3pm.
