Obituary for Ronald P. "Poochie" Paquette

Ronald “Poochie” Paquette

Of Nevada, formerly of Waltham, MA& Charlestown, MA, passed away on Wednesday December 28th, 2022 at the age 80.

Born on January 4, 1942 in Marlborough, MA; beloved son of the late Donald Paquette and Jeanette (Thomas) Paquette. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Donald, Robert, Peter & Elaine.

A graduate of Brighton High School in 1960 where he was an accomplished football player. He grew up in the Boston neighborhood of Charlestown. He also played for the Charlestown Townies of Boston’s semi-pro Park League. For years Ronnie was a member of Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart.

Ronnie was in the auto salvage industry owning a business in Plainville, MA and for many years working for Siegel’s Auto in Chelsea, MA. He lived his later years in Henderson Nevada and is also pre-deceased by his life partner of over 20 years, Maureen Otzelberger.

He is survived by his devoted & loving three sons, Patrick (Hyannis, MA), Charles (Waltham, MA) and Ronald (Avon, MA) whom he raised in the Boston neighborhood of Allston and then Waltham with his ex-wife Christina Healy.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Ronnie and his family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Sunday afternoon January 29th from 2PM until 6PM.
