Louis J. Papia Jr.

Of Newton, formerly of Waltham passed away unexpectedly complications due to a heart condition on December 25, 2023 at the young age of 54.

Born on September 18, 1968 in Waltham; beloved son of the late Louis J. Papia Sr. and Esther (Stanton) Papia. Louie had spent most of his life as a resident of Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1986.

Louie served in the United States Navy as a Cook and was employed for most of his adult life as a cook.

He loved the outdoors and always had an affinity for his time as a member of The Boy Scouts of America as a small boy and young man. He loved his family and was always up for an adventure. He was an avid Boston sports fan and was the life of every party. His boisterous personality will be greatly missed by his family and friends alike.

He is survived by His Life Partner, Debbie Pine of Newton, his Sister Lisa Papia of Waltham, his Niece Jessica of Salem, and his Nephew Thomas Morrison Jr. of Waltham, He is also survived by his last surviving maternal relative, his Uncle Larry Stanton. He is also survived by his paternal Uncles and Aunts as follows. His Great Uncle Sal and Aunt Joanne of Newton, Uncle Charles Papia and Aunt Susan of New Hampshire, Uncle Thomas Papia and Aunt Diane Papia of Maynard, Uncle James (Jay) Papia and Aunt Papia of Newton. In addition, he is survived by many cousins.
