Rosemary “Ro” Alicia (Grande) Mitchell,
Of Plymouth, MA passed away on December 18,2022, in her home with her brother Anthony Grande by her side.
Rosemary was born on November 16, 1944, in Boston, MA to the late Anthony and Martha (Oliverio) Grande.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Mitchell, both of her parents Anthony and Martha Grande, and her brother Ralph Grande. Survived by her brother Anthony Grande and his wife Cheryl, her sister Suzanne Grande; her 3 children Tracy and Eric Holsapple, Toni and Greg Tsouprake, and Terri Mitchell, her 7 treasured grandchildren, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great nieces and 5 great nephews. Whom she adored and treated like her own.
Rosemary, whom her family lovingly referred to her as “Drama Queen”, was an active member of the Walpole Footlighters Theatre Group for over 47 years. Rosemary also enjoyed volunteering and volunteered for the Town of Needham and Needham Hospital for 19 years.
Ro lived life to the fullest- spontaneous, fun loving, and stubborn! She was very generous to a fault. She always enjoyed rescuing dogs, Buddy, Margo, and Teddy. Rosemary is grateful for the care she received from Cranberry Hospice and Palliative Care and the caregivers from Kathy Leonard’s group.
Family & Friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Rosemary's life and remember the love & friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Thursday morning December 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery at 12:30pm.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Rosemary and her family can do so during Visiting Hours on Thursday morning Dec. 22nd prior to the Funeral Service from 9AM until 11AM.
