Frances "Fran" E. (Killion) Norton

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening November 5th, 2022 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston at the age of 81.

Born on March 9, 1941 in the Mattapan section of Boston; daughter of the late Albert M. Killion and Doris C. (Lawler) Killion. Fran was raised in Boston and moved to Watertown and has been a resident of Waltham for over 63 years. She spent many years with family and friends traveling to Siesta Key in Florida.

Fran graduated from Watertown High School with the Class of 1958. She had been employed as a Payroll Specialist with ADP for over 15 years.

Her husband, children and especially her grandchildren were the central focus of her life. Her family and her friends were always first and foremost; she was loyal, generous, kind, and caring. She cherished the time and special occasions she spent with everyone.

In her spare time she liked to play games, especially dominos and cards, going to Disney World, going on cruises and loved her trips to the casinos.

Fran is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years William "Bill" Norton; her devoted & loving children Kathy Norton of Waltham; William J. Norton Jr. and his wife Deborah of Barrington, NH; Kerry Maloney of Billerica; and Kristin Wood and her husband Thomas of Burlington; her cherished grandchildren George Byam, Alicia Annunciata, Amy Annunciata, Lauren Maloney, Michael Norton, Allison Norton, Brendan Maloney, Justin Wood and Andrew Wood; her adoring great grandchildren Macy Byam, Kiera Patenaude and George Byam; and her sisters Doris C. "Dottie" Baxter of Hudson and the late Mary E. "Betty" Chappell. In addition she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Fran and her family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Wednesday November 9th from 3pm until 7pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Fran's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday morning November 10th at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
