Catherine (Jangling) Gallagher
July 30, 1948 - October 20, 2022

Catherine (Jangling) Gallagher, 74, of Arlington, MA died of a cardiac arrest at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.

She is survived by her husband Frank Gallagher, mother-in-law Shirley Galvin of Burlington, MA, four sisters, Henrietta Sih of San Francisco, CA; Caroline Pei of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Claudia Tang of Wayland, Ma, Clara Chou of Austin, TX and 16 nieces and nephews and 12 grandnephews and grandnieces.

Catherine was born in Taiwan, a daughter of the late Chinghung Shueh and Billie Chang.; she was the beloved wife of Frank Gallagher for 30 years.

Catherine had a BS degree in Mathematics followed by a year of graduate study. She taught high school Math for many years. She also worked as a computer programmer.

Catherine had multiple talents including cooking, crocheting, Chinese calligraphy, and painting. Most of all, she loves to share these talents with her friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Jangling's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning October 29th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jangling can be made to the Chinese Gospel Church, Southborough, MA.
