Lynda M. (Sheehan) Busa
Of Belmont, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 11th, 2022 in the comfort and care of the Care Dimensions Hospice Home in Lincoln after a long illness at the age of 71.
Born on January 2, 1951 in Cambridge; daughter of Dennis F. Sheehan and Mary C. (York) Sheehan. Lynda was raised in Cambridge and has resided in Belmont for most of her life.
A graduate of Cambridge High & Latin School; Lynda had worked at the Ben Franklin Gift Shop in Cushing Square in Belmont and with Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cambridge, assisting in the rectory over the years. Most recently she had spent time volunteering with the Belmont Council on aging.
Lynda was a movie enthusiast and a huge "Wizard of Oz" fan. She was a avid collector of all types of figurines.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years James M. "Jimmy" Busa; her dear siblings Geroge Sheehan of FL. and Dennis Sheehan of MA; and was a mother-like-figure to Tessa and her godson Marty and to the late JoJo. In addition she is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her extended Busa Family.
She was predeceased by her dear siblings Paul L. Sheehan, Elaine M. Sheehan and Frances E. Sheehan.
Family & Friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Lynda's life and remember the love & friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Tuesday afternoon September 20th at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Meadow Cemetery in Belmont.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Lynda and her family can do so during Visiting Hours on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Service from 10AM until 12PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lynda's memory to the charity of one's choice.
