Frances "Fran" Wheeler (Cincotta)

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 31st, 2022 in her home at the age of 78.

Born on October 31, 1943 in Waltham; daughter of the late Joseph F. Cincotta and Mary R. (Montagna) Cincotta. Fran was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

Fran graduated from Waltham High School, she worked at the Embassy Theater as a young woman and began her working career at Waltham Savings Bank. After a few years, she took a position as Payroll Specialist with Metropolitan State Hospital in the administrative offices until her retirement.

Frances spent much of her time with friends and family. She loved going for walks, eating out, shopping, gambling, going for rides and she loved the movies.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John F. “Jack” Wheeler in 2016.

She is survived by her devoted & loving siblings; Mary (Cincotta) Bennett of Waltham; Diane (Cincotta) Domenico and her husband Angelo of Woburn; and Joseph Cincotta of Waltham; her nieces Senta Buban and husband Jason; and Dawn Bennett; her nephews Anthony Domenico; Nicholas Domenico; and niece Gina Gillespie; and her great nieces & nephews, Brittany, Lea, Jason, Logan, Landen and Gianna Rose. In addition, she is survived by many cousins, extended family, and numerous close friends who will miss her dearly.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Frances and her family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Monday, September 12th from 4 pm until 6 pm. For those who wish to pay their final respects, but are unable to attend, please be sure to sign the guestbook at www.Brascofuneralhome.com. Parking attendants will be on duty.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Fran’s life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Tuesday, September 13th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the North Cemetery in Wayland.
