Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 25, 2022 at the age of 33.
Born on December 18, 1988; Son of Enrique and Wanda Santana. Derek was raised in Waltham.
Derek had a wide variety of passions; some include Boston sports especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Derek also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music and making wood cars.
Derek is survived by his loving parents Enrique and Wanda, his brother Eric Santana and Kimberly, and his three nephews Justin, Jordan and Jason. Derek, also is survived by his maternal grandparents Marina Rivera and Victor Fernandez and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Derek and his family can do so at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham prior to the funeral mass on Tuesday, September 6 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. We ask that friends be mindful and respectful of large social gatherings.
