Leslie Torres

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 12, 2022 in Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 38.

Born on December 19, 1983 in Ponce, Puerto Rico; beloved son of Yolanda Torres. Leslie came to Waltham as a young boy and has been a resident of Waltham ever since.

A graduate of Waltham High School; Leslie was known as "DJ Les" when he worked as a D.J. at the Boca Bar in Waltham for several years. Leslie loved working on cars and was always willing to help friends when they needed service work done on their vehicles. He would install stereo systems and speakers, perform brake repairs and even oil changes. He was always happy to help out his friends.

He loved being surrounded by his family and his friends.

Leslie is survived by his beloved mother Yolanda Torres of Waltham; his father Melvin Jimenez and wife Tina Jimenez; his dear siblings Melvin G. Jimenez and his daughter Olivia Jimenez; Glenda Jimenez and Partner Anthony Lawson, and their children, Gianna Taylor, Aaliyan Jimenez and Aiden Lawson; and Joseph Jimenez.

He was predeceased by his dear brother Sergeant Melvin Jimenez Jr. (USA).

Family & Friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Leslie's life to remember the love & friendship he shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Tuesday evening august 23rd.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Leslie and his family can do so in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday August 23rd from 4pm until 8pm. We ask that friends please be mindful and respectful of social gatherings.
