Normand Joseph Dallaire
Of Waltham, passed away Wednesday afternoon December 21st, 2022 at Newton - Wellesley Hospital after a long illness at the age of 85.
Born on March 1, 1937 in New Brunswick, Canada; son of the late Abel Dallaire and Leonore (Maillet) Dallaire, Normand was raised in Canada and has lived for over 65 years in Waltham.
Normand had been a self-employed Carpenter throughout his life. He owned and operated Normand Dallaire Framing & Contracting. He loved carpentry even in his spare time he would work on projects all around his house. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard.
His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family and friends in York, Maine. In his spare time he liked watching the History and Discovery Channel.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Claire (LeBlanc) Dallaire in 2014.
Normand is survived by his loving & devoted children Andrea Cristofori and her husband Mark; David J. Dallaire; and Aimee J. Dallaire all of Waltham; his cherished grandchildren Corey Dallaire, Ashley, Mark A. Luke R. and Nina Rose Cristofori and his adoring great grandson Nathan Dallaire. In addition he is survived by siblings locally and in Canada as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Funeral Services in celebration of Normand's Life will be held private for his family.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Normand’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association
