Obituary for Victor Manuel Santiago
Of Waltham, entered eternal rest & peace unexpectedly Friday morning July 1, 2022 in Plymouth, just 5 days before his 54th birthday.
Born on July 6, 1968 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico; son of Marcelino Santiago and Teresa (Saez) Santiago. Victor came to Waltham, Massachusetts from Puerto Rico in 1985.
A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1986; Victor furthered his education at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He had been employed as an HVAC Technician throughout his life and for the past 17 years at Brandeis University in Waltham. In addition, Victor owned and operated Santiago's Comfort Cooling & Heating in Waltham for many years on his own.
The life of every party and family gathering, Victor lived his short life to the fullest. He loved being around his family and friends; listening to music, dancing and partying. He was passionate about the outdoors; he enjoyed camping, fishing and anything that brought him outside. He also enjoyed playing Domino's.
He is survived by his beloved wife Felicia Elizabeth (Collado) Santiago; his devoted & loving daughters Vanessa Santiago of Waltham; Alyssa Santiago of Milford; his cherished grandson Jordyn Allen-Robinson; and Felicia's children Emil Marte and Betsy Marte both of Waltham and grandchildren Katie and Aaron, whom he considered to be his own family; and his dear siblings Hector of Florida; Efrain of Waltham; Jose of Waltham; Osvaldo of Waltham; Carmen of Puerto Rico; Geraldo of Waltham; Luis of Newton; Orlando of Newton; Angel of Marlborough; Edgardo of Waltham; Javier of Billerica; Ricardo of Sudbury; Ivan of Woburn and Grisel of Waltham. In addition he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, close friends and extended family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Family & friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Victor's Life and remember the love & friendship he shared with others at a Funeral Mass at Saint Mary's Church, 145 School Street, Waltham on Saturday July 9th at 10:00 a.m.
