Soventz Jean-Gabriel

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2022, at Newton - Wellesley Hospital. He was 21 years old.

Born on January 10, 2001 in Desdune, Haiti; beloved son of Kaslet Jean-Gabriel and Annemarie Gustinvil. Soventz immigrated to the United States from Haiti in 2012 and spent two years with his father in New Jersey before moving to Waltham in 2014.

A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 2019; Soventz furthered his education at MassBay Community College. He was studying to be a graphic designer and was recently employed with Patient Care.

Soventz was full of life; he enjoyed many different hobbies and interests including playing basketball and soccer.

In addition to his beloved parents Kaslet and Annemarie; Soventz is survived by his loving siblings Wendwens Jean-Gabriel; Kassandra Jean-Gabriel; Katiana Jean-Gabriel; Nephtalee Jean-Gabriel; Karlens Jean-Gabriel; Sheenr Jean-Gabriel; and Kiane Jean-Gabriel; his cherished paternal grandparents Anathanise-Fleurissaint and Sauveur Jean-Gabriel; and dear Aunts Manoucheka Termitus, Angeyola Gabriel; and Choumy Gabriel and Uncle Wolkins Garcon. In addition he is survived many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous close friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Soventz's life and remember the love and friendship he shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning June 25th at 11:00 am. His burial will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Soventz and the Gabriel Family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning prior to the service from 9am until 11am. For those who we love and care about the family asks attendees to be mindful of social gatherings.
