Ralph R. Paradiso

Of Belmont, passed away peacefully Monday morning May 16th, 2022 with his loving family by his side at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge at the age of 82.

Born on September 24, 1939 in Somerville; son of the late Ralph A. Paradiso and Theresa (Razzaboni) Paradiso; Ralph was raised in Somerville and has been a resident of Belmont most of his life.

A graduate of Somerville High School; Ralph furthered his education at Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He spent his career as a Mechanical Engineer at Sanders Engineering and G.T.E.

Family was the most important aspect of his life and in his spare time he enjoyed doing yard work and fixing things around the house. He was a diehard New England Patriots Fan. In recent years he has enjoyed playing golf and trying different courses. Ralph and Joanne loved entertaining family & friends and traveling to South Yarmouth on Cape Cod.

Ralph was predeceased by his beloved wife Joanne M. (Archidiacono) Paradiso in 2013.

He is survived by his devoted & loving daughters Alyson Paradiso of Belmont; and Renee T. Pizzuto and her husband Michael of Lowell; Proud "PAPA" to his cherished granddaughter Emily Rose Pizzuto; his dearest sister Evelyn Velanti formerly of Medford; and his dear brother-in-law Robert A. Archidiacono of Lexington. In addition he is survived by his friend and companion Jean McCoy, as well as many nieces & nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Ralph's life and remember the love and friendship he shared with others at a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning May 23rd at Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Ralph and his family can do so in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Sunday May 22nd from 2pm until 5pm.
