Marie J. (Savilonis) DePamphilis

Of Belmont, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 10th at her daughter’s residence with her family by her side. She was 82.
Born in Boston, she was raised in Cambridge where she graduated from Saint Mary of the Annunciation. Marie worked as a secretary with the Polaroid Company for many years before the birth of her children. She later served in administrative roles at McLean Hospital, Mass General Hospital and PRIMARK.
Devout in her faith, she enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. She cherished her visits to the Cape, where she spent time with her grandchildren each summer.
The true love of Marie’s life was her devoted husband John Louis DePamphilis, Sr. who passed in 2004. Their love and dedication to each other will continue to serve as an inspiration to their families.
Marie is survived by two children and five grandchildren, her daughter Maria Wilson and her husband Robin and their daughters Sarah and Lucie of North Reading, and her son Sean DePamphilis and his former wife Deena DePamphilis and their children Michaela, Josh, and Alex of Belmont. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she leaves behind her dearest friend Catherine “Peggy” Bielsik, sister Frances O’Donnell and sister-in-law Lucia DePamphilis as well as a loving, extended family.
Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Marie’s life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 11:00 a.m.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Marie and her family can do so at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Tuesday from 8:30-10:30am. For those who wish to pay their final respects, but are unable to attend, please be sure to sign the guestbook at www.BrascoFuneralhome.com. Parking attendants will be on duty.
