Obituary for Patricia M. "Patty" Keefe

Patricia “Patty” M. Keefe

Of Waltham, died unexpectedly January 5, 2022, at her home at the age of 67.

Patty was born July 4, 1954, and is a Graduate of Waltham High class of 1972

She is survived by her brother William “Bill” Keefe and his wife Linda A. (Foti) Keefe of North Billerica as well as her nephews Jonathan Keefe (Amie) of Danvers, Jeffrey Keefe of Groton, and Jared Keefe (Jaymee) of W. Yarmouth; her Great nephews, Kaiden , Chase and Jaxson Keefe and her Great Niece Avalynn Keefe

Patty was predeceased by her Mother Geraldine T. Keefe and Grandmother Abbie “Nana” Auld and her Nephew Justin Keefe who ironically passed away 1 year ago on January 6th.

Patty was an LPN and worked at the Waltham Hospital for many years. She changed professions and became a Legislative aide for her good friend State Representative Anthony Mandile and served the citizens of the 10th Middlesex District at the Massachusetts State House for 8 years.

Subsequently she found fulfillment working for the City of Waltham in the Payroll dept and retired as a Payroll and Benefits Supervisor this past October. She enjoyed helping everyone coming to her office with benefit questions.

She will be missed by her family and her hundreds of friends...........Keep Smiling Patty!

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Patty's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St. WALTHAM on Wednesday afternoon May 18th at 12:00 pm.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Patty and her family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel on Wednesday morning prior to the service from 9am until 12pm. We ask that friends be mindful and respectful of social gatherings. For those who wish to pay their final respects, but are unable to attend, please be sure to sign the guestbook at www.BrascoFuneralhome.com. Parking attendants will be on duty.
