ROY ANTHONY SACCA
Of Waltham, passed away on Thursday evening, April 1st, 2021 at the carney Hospital in Dorchester at the age of 82.
Born and raised in Belmont, he was the son of the late John “White” Sacca and Dorothy (Boucher) Sacca. Roy has been a Waltham resident for the past 20 years.
A graduate of Belmont High School with the Class of 1957; Roy was employed as a Produce Manager at Lowell Bros & Bailey in Chelsea and most recently until his retirement at Stop & Shop in Watertown.
Roy was the doting grandfather, who loved gathering with his family. He cherished the moments spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving companion and life partner of 30 years Jo-Ann (Arone) Giordano; his children Sandra O'Grady and her husband John of Dracut; and Kenneth Sacca of Montana; his daughter-in-law Jill Sacca; his cherished grandchildren Daniella, Nicolas, and Michael; and his siblings Joseph Sacca of Belmont; John Sacca of Florida; Carol Grooper of Wilmington; Richard Sacca of Belmont; and William Sacca of Burlington. In addition he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Brother of the late Rita Pizzi, George Sacca and Robert "Bob" Sacca.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Roy's life and remember the love he shared with those he touched in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 6th at 11:00 am. His burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury.
