Jane Marie Renna
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully early Saturday afternoon March 27th, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 59.
Born on May 15, 1961 in Waltham; beloved daughter of late Joseph Warren Curtis and Marie P. (Coye) Curtis. Jane resided in Framingham for a period of time but spent most of her life in Waltham. She found great joy and peace in the place she loved most; Wells Beach in Maine.
A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1979; Jane had been employed as a Bus Driver and Cab Driver with Central Square Taxi in Waltham for many years.
As a young woman, Jane was devoted to her church, Saint Joseph's Parish on Main Street in Waltham. she had many different interests over the years; she enjoyed collecting pottery and antiques, playing bingo, watching the weather channel and cooking shows constantly, but she loved singing karaoke, dancing and going to concerts.
Jane is survived by her devoted & loving children Robert J. McGilvray III of Waltham; Shayna Lynn O'Brien of Belmont, NH; and Vincent J. Renna of Maple Plain, MN; her dear siblings Susan Thackery of NY; Ellen Whelan of Ashland; Virginia "Ginny" Aloia of TN; Kathleen "Kathy" Carell of NH; and Elizabeth "Betty" Aucoin of NY; and her dearest and closest lifelong friends Debbie Doherty, Kathleen "DD" Vestal and Robin Lyons.
Out of genuine concern for those we love and care about during this difficult time Funeral Services in celebration of Jane's life will be held private for her family.
