Obituary for Diana Karelas Karampour

Diana Alice Karelas Karampour

Of Framingham, MA and formerly of Waltham, MA, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer,
passed away peacefully on Friday March 26.

She is survived by her son, whom she adored, Alexander of Framingham. Also survived by her brother Arthur Karelas of Framingham, formerly of Waltham and her brother James Karelas of Woburn, formerly of Waltham.
Diana lived for her family.

She loved us and was always there for us. Her happiest moments were when she cooked holiday meals for family and friends. She was especially close to her cousin John Pergantis of Brookline and his wife Marylynn, and her sister-in-law Doreen Karelas of Framingham, formerly of Newton. Diana loved her many cousins: Tucky, Billy, Steven, Joey, Peggy, David, Richard, Ernie, Tony, George, Andrew, and nieces Angel, Nicole, Stacy,
Jessica, and her nephew Jimmy.

She loved her many friends and they loved her. If anyone said to her, I love you. She always responded, “I love you more.” But her best and most cherished friend of 47 years, Cynthia Priest Tamburro of Weston, formerly of Waltham, had a special place in her heart.

Diana fostered two young boys who were in dire need and gave them a safe loving home. She also rescued 4 dogs and gave them wonderful care.

Diana was very proud of her Greek heritage and she felt at home when she traveled to Greece years ago with her beloved mother Alice Karelas.

When we think of Diana, we Remember her beautiful singing, dancing and being the life of the party.
She will be very missed by all the people who had the blessing of knowing.
