Maria T. Kish
Devoted wife and mother of Waltham passed away peacefully on April 08, 2021 at age 89.
Born on October 23, 1931 in Budapest, Hungary; beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Szabo) Balits.
Maria was an extremely hard working woman who immigrated to The United States in 1956. She worked many jobs before starting at Anzak Electronics on the assembly line. She was quickly promoted to lead worker and then supervisor. Shortly afterwards M/A- com took over and Maria started working in the Research and Development Department.
She worked in the Clean room developing and making units that went into the Apollo 11 and The Space Shuttle. Maria retired from M/A- com after working there for 27 years on Aril 04, 1997.
Among the many things Maria enjoyed, she loved to travel with her family and went on two cruises with her beloved husband Andy Kish.
After retirement Maria enjoyed ballroom dancing twice a week with her husband. She also liked to cook and entertain friends in her immaculate home.
Maria leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter Maria J. Kish Boyd and her Grandsons; Andor LaBrecque, Matthew LeBrecque and Sean LaBrecque.
Out of genuine concern for those we love and care deeply about during this difficult time throughout the world and in our community; family and friends will gather to celebrate Maria's life and remember the love she shared with those she touched during Graveside Services at 1:30 pm on Friday April 16, 2021 at Mt. Feake Cemetery Located, 203 Prospect Street Waltham.
