Nancy J. (White) Calleva
A Waltham resident for over 50 years passed away Thursday March 25th, 2021 at the age of 77.
Nancy was born on June 27, 1943 in Cambridge, MA to the late Simeon White and Phyllis (Palmer) White.
She was raised in Watertown where she graduated from Watertown High School. Nancy furthered her education graduating from Suffolk University with a Bachelor's Degree in English.
Nancy worked at the National Archives in Waltham while raising her three sons.
Her time off was spent on family trips to New Hampshire's Newfound Lake and Mr. Wally's Cabin. She also enjoyed her brother's home in Rhode Island. Her highlight of travel was taking her children to England to connect with her heritage, of which she was so proud of. Some of her favorite times spent with family were long rides enjoying the New England foliage as well as the best ocean seafood restaurants.
Nancy was the former wife of the late Anthony R. Calleva and beloved mother of the late Marc Calleva.
She is survived by her loving children Christopher S. Calleva and his wife Linda (Proia) Calleva of Waltham; Anthony Calleva Jr. and his wife Kim (Bailey) Calleva of Clinton; her cherished grandchildren Christopher S. Jr, Anthony III, Brieanna and Nicholas; and her dear siblings Robert White and his wife Diana of Portsmouth, RI; and Patricia Thurston and her husband Brad of Fall River, MA. In addition she is survived by several nieces, nephews, and close relatives who loved her dearly.
Family & Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Nancy’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM this Wednesday, March 31st at 12:00 p.m.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time; and for those who wish to pay their respects to Nancy and her family can do so in accordance with CDC, Federal, State and Local guidelines during Visiting Hours prior to the services on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Due to the on-going pandemic, we ask that friends please be mindful and respectful of current limitations in regard to social gatherings.
