Kevin R. "Kev" Waugh, died on February 13, 2021, in the V.A. Hospital in West Roxbury. He was 77 Years Old.
Born in Waltham, he lived there all his life. He graduated from Waltham High School in 1962 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in February of his senior year. Serving honorably for four years from 1962 thru 1966.
He worked as a shipper for over twenty years for the Millipore Corporation in Bedford before retiring.
He enjoyed working around the family home doing electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects with his brother. Planting his vegetable garden and doing landscaping. Helping neighbors clear snow from their driveways with his snowblower.
He was the son of the late Arthur K. and Catherine F. (Furdon) Waugh and late brother John A. (Jack) Waugh.
He leaves his sister, Janice E. (Waugh) Cassidy of Leominster, his brother Alan F. "Al" Waugh of Waltham with whom he shared the family home. He leaves his nephew Richard L. Cassidy Jr. and wife Amy and twin great nephews Aidan and Liam Cassidy. His niece Catherine J. (Cassidy) Hanssen and husband Eric and great niece Julia and great nephew John (Jack) Hanssen.
Out of genuine concern for those we love and care deeply about during this difficult time throughout the world and in our community; family gathered to celebrate Kevin's life and remember the love he shared with those he touched in a private Funeral Service at Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels in Waltham followed by his burial at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.
