Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday night January 26th, 2021 in his home after complications from Covid-19 at the age of 58.
Born on April 5, 1962 in La Paz, Bolivia; son of the late Zenon Garcia and Nelly Delgado Rivera de Garcia. Dante immigrated to the United States as a young man has resided in Waltham for the past 35 years.
Dante had a passion for working with computers and anything electronic. He worked in the Information Technology Department at NOVA Biomedical Corporation in Waltham for many years.
In his spare time he loved taking care of and walking his dog around the neighborhood.
He devoted his life to his family; and in his spare time he loved taking care of his dog and walking him around the neighborhood.
Dante is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years Sonia (Gonzalez) Garcia; his devoted & loving daughter Lydia Rivera of Fitchburg; his cherished grandchildren Tiara, Jonathan, Kassandra, and Josiah; and his dear Raul, Alberto, Elizabeth, Julio and Favia Garcia.
Those who wish to pay their respects are asked to do so in accordance with CDC Federal, State and Local guidelines during visiting hours in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street on Friday January 29th from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Due to the on-going pandemic, all are asked to be mindful and respectful of current limitations in regard to social gatherings.
