Enio Carretta passed away unexpectedly Friday evening January 15, 2021 in Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 64.

Enio was born on April 16, 1956 in Waltham, MA to the late Francesco “Frank” and Maria (Iacaruso) Carretta. He was raised in Waltham, graduating from Waltham High School with the Class of 1975.
He worked his entire life as a Finish Furniture Maker, working on crown molding and wood working, with his brother-in-law at Freeman CarDer Corporation.
In his early years Enio had a love for music and played bass in a band called "Rigga Row Band. He also had a love for model trains and with is son over the years put many together. Later in life, he greatly enjoyed the simple things life had to offer; he loved going to the beach and he had artist nature, so he took up painting.
Enio is survived by his loving older sister Natalina Monaco and husband Vincenzo of Clinton; his cherished son Tyler Carretta of Waltham; his devoted companion Barbara (Nasco) LaCroix and her children Roger and Raymond of Waltham; and his former spouse, Diane (Lassman) Carretta-Gaskill. In addition he is survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his dear brother Aldo Carretta in 2020.
Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Enio’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM this Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. His burial will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time; and for those who wish to pay their respects to and Enio and his family can do so in accordance with CDC, Federal, State and Local guidelines during Visiting Hours prior to the services on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Due to the on-going pandemic, we ask that friends please be mindful and respectful of current limitations in regard to social gatherings.
