Betty J. Russo

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on November 24th surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 03, 1930 in Waltham; daughter of the late William and Estelle Fox. Betty was a lifelong resident of Waltham where she and Anthony raised their Children and developed friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Betty devoted her life to providing and caring for her family and they were her world. It was her giving spirit and selfless nature that made her so adaptable to her career as a Cafeteria attendant for many years. She loved family gatherings and celebrating holidays surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who all made her life complete.

In her spare time, she loved shopping with her friend Connie, and as a dedicated and active parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo she served in different capacities showing compassion and a willingness to help anyone no matter their situation or circumstance.

Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Russo and her brothers, William and Kenneth Fox.

She is survived by her devoted & loving children. Her son Anthony Russo, daughters Marilyn Cedrone and her husband Daniel of Groton, Ma., Barbara Lacerra and her husband Vincent of Watertown, MA., Ellen MacDowell and her husband Brian of Marlborough, Joan Graham and her husband Peter of Marlborough, Patricia Mohammadian and her husband Amir of Santa Clara California. In addition, she is survived by 11 cherished grandchildren, 4 adoring great grandchildren and her Sister Estelle and a dear family friend whom she loved like a daughter Lisa Millerick and her husband Brian of Waltham.

For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, family will gather to celebrate Betty’s life and remember the loved she shared with those she touched during Private Services (immediate family only) in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels. Located at 773 Moody Street Waltham, Ma.
