Obituary for Aline Evelyn Schwalm
Aline E. Schwalm of Waltham, passed away peacefully Friday, November 20, 2020 at the age of 86.
Born May 1, 1934 in St. Albans, VT, to Leopold and Evelyn Martel one of 9 children all who predeceased her. Aline worked for the phone company in Burlington Vermont until her youngest sister called her to come to Massachusetts.
She was a Waltham resident thereafter working in various retail stores. She was well-liked by many. You could always count on her to have a chat and share a laugh. She was a feisty "half-pint" with a big heart.
Married to the late, Millard John Schwalm, Jr., she leaves to cherish her memory her 2 children, David T. Schwalm and Madeline (Maddi) Martel (Joe Carlo). She will truly be missed. We love you mom. Until we meet again.
Due to the current spike in Covid-19 and out of genuine concern for the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, Aline’s Private interment will be held at a later date at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In accordance to all CDC, Federal, State and local guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in Aline’s memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org In hope that one day this disease will be eradicated.
