Anthony A. Ruggerio
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 27th, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston at the age of 89.
Born on October 11, 1931 in Boston; son of the late Andrew Ruggerio and Jennie (Censabella) Ruggerio. Anthony was raised and lived for a period of time in Belmont before moving to Waltham where he lived most of his life.
A graduate of Belmont High School; Anthony was employed as a Master Electrician with the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham for 40 years.
He served proudly and honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a longtime member of the American Legion.
In his spare time he loved to read books. He was a kind and gentle man, always giving of himself to help others.
Anthony was predeceased by his beloved wife Janice Marie (Runci) Ruggerio in 2016.
He is survived by his devoted & loving sister-in-law Arlene Carroll and her husband Kenneth of Acton; and brother-in-law John Runci and his wife Mary of Methuen. In addition he is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Out of genuine concern for those we love and care deeply about during this difficult time throughout the world and our community; family will gather to celebrate Anthony's life and remember the love he shared with those he touched in a private Graveside Funeral Service at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Waltham.
