Camille Joseph LeBlanc
Of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning October 18th, 2020 at the age of 66. He was surrounded by his loving family at home after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on November 7, 1953 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada; loving son of Yvonne (King) LeBlanc and the late Roger LeBlanc. Camille was raised in Canada and had resided in Waltham and Framingham for many years before moving to Auburn 9 years ago.
Camille spent his career as a Plasterer throughout his life. After learning the trade he built his own business that he only retired from when he could no longer work.
In his younger years Camille loved to play hockey in numerous different leagues almost six days a week. He enjoyed listening to old country music, watching television especially NASCAR, and tinkering with tools on many household projects. He loved going to see the old cars, and spent years working on his old ’70 Chevelle “Patrac”.
Camille is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Jeannine (Despres) LeBlanc; his devoted and loving daughters Chantal Diamond and her husband Dan of Auburn; Jocelyn Duncan and her husband Phil of Hopkinton; and Nicole LeBlanc and her wife Elizabeth of Dudley; his cherished grandchildren Abbie, Wyatt, Keegan, Travis and Phoenix; his loving mother Yvonne (King) LeBlanc of New Brunswick, Canada; and his dear sisters Annette Boudreau of Ottawa, Canada and Rachel Grace of New Brunswick, Canada. In addition he is survived by many nieces, nephews, close friends, extended family who loved him dearly, and his shadow, his dog Zoey.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, and for those who wish to pay their respects to Camille and his family can do so in accordance with CDC, Federal and State guidelines in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, MA., on Friday Oct. 23rd from 3 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of Camille's Life will follow in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons at 7:00 p.m.
