Stephen E. Armstrong of Watertown and Waltham passed away peacefully on Sunday Sept 27th.
Born on June 28, 1949 in Boston, the son of the late Albert E. and Claire A. (Young) Armstrong.
Steve graduated from Watertown High School and was on the track team where he received a scholarship to Northeastern University where he excelled in his favorite sport.
He loved animals and was an avid Patriots fan. Steve was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country with dedication and honor.
Steve is survived by his devoted sister, Mary Jane Power and her husband Robert of Marlborough, his brother Joseph and his wife Nancy of Nantucket. Also survived by his Goddaughter, Jessica Bostick and her husband Rick of Hudson and niece Lea Haggerty and her children Genavieve and Brogan of Waltham and many loving cousins.
Memorial Services will be held in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels 773 Moody St. Waltham. We respectfully request that everyone please do so in accordance with the Federal and State guidelines by wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Veterans Organization of your choice or the American Cancer Society.
