Maria Elena Valenzuela
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Tuesday September 15th, 2020 at Beth - Israel Deaconess Medical Center at the age of 72.
Born on September 24, 1947 in Santa Ana , El Salvador; daughter of the late Rafael Roman and Maria Ernestina Gonzalez. Maria immigrated to the United States and resided in Waltham since 2014.
Her family and her friends were always first and foremost; she cherished the time spent surrounded by those she loved so deeply, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Maria was predeceased by her beloved husband Emillio Valenzuela.
She is survived by her devoted and loving children; Blanca Valenzuela; Rafael Valenzuela; Walter Valenzuela; Ana Maria Valenzuela; William Valenzuela; her 20 cherished grandchildren; and her 11 adoring
great grandchildren. In addition she is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, and for those who wish to pay their respects to Maria and her family can do so in accordance with CDC, Federal and State guidelines in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, MA., on Thursday Sept. 17th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Mary's Church, 145 School Street, Waltham on Friday morning Sept. 18th at 10:00 a.m. Following the Funeral Mass burial will be held at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
The Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home of WALTHAM assisted Maria's family with arrangements.
