Gary Walter Hersey,
Of Framingham, formerly of Waltham. Passed away Friday evening August 7th at the Care Dimensions Hospice Home in Lincoln after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Boston, the son of the late B. Walter and Nellie (Tamulewicz) Hersey. Raised and educated in Waltham he had graduated from Waltham High School with the Class of 1971.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Susan (Lutz) Hersey, and their son Robert Hersey and his wife Amanda. He leaves his dear brother Richard Hersey and his wife Kathleen, along with his niece Kaitlin and nephew Peter Hersey. He also leaves his sister Carol Ann Hersey and his cousins Leo J Hickey and
William Tamulewicz Jr.
His love for family and friends was always present and his caring heart will be held close by many.
Gary loved Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Cruises, and a great card game. Not to mention visiting the casinos!
A longtime employee at Agar Supply Gary drove a truck delivering food and supplies to restaurants and markets all around New England. He had also drove for many years for FinCor located on Elm Street in Waltham. After FinCor he worked with his dear friend Perry at Boston Tire. Gary made many lasting friends along the way which are now a part of our extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in Celebration of Gary's Life on at 11AM Saturday morning in the Mary Catherine Chapel of the Brasco Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held in the Chapel on Friday from 4-8PM.
