Louise P. Martin

Of Waltham passed away peacefully Sunday Sept 27, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Louise was born in Watertown, MA on December 21, 1927; Daughter to the Late Joseph Corsetti and the late Mary (Caruso) Corsetti. At the age of 17 Louise began working at the Raytheon Company in Waltham, Ma where she met her soon to be husband, James F. Martin, Esq now deceased.

After their marriage she entered the cosmetology field, graduating from Mansfield Beauty Academy in Boston. She work for many years as a Colorist for Clairol and Redkin doing platform work in
hair and make up artist, even working for the New York City Rockettes as a hair stylist. Owning her first shop in Chestnut Hill section of Newton.

She spent her remaining years in the field teaching at the former Robert & Richard Beauty Academy on Moody St in Waltham. Her incurable talent is still remembered by many of her former students.

Upon Retirement she relocated with her husband to Seminole, Florida. They spent many happy years with family, friends and neighbors in their tight knit community in the beautiful Florida sun. They were joined every summer by their two grandchildren enjoying the pool, beach and amusement parks. Louise relocated back to Waltham in the summer of 2018 to spend her remaining years close to her family.

Louise is survived by her Daughter Ann Marie (Martin) Marcolina and her husband Gary of Waltham, Her grandson James Marcolina of Newton, and her Granddaughter Jacquelyn (Marcolina) Tsacoyianis and her Husband Theodore of Waltham. As well a her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, and for those who wish to pay their respects to Louise and her family can do so in accordance with CDC, Federal and State guidelines in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, MA., on Friday Oct 2nd from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Louise's Life will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
