With great sadness, we announce Altagracia Torres passed May 25, 2020 at the age 76. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband Samuel of 57 years, children Elizabeth, Abigail, Samuel Jr., Ruth, and Carlos, 7 grandchildren (with 4 more through marriage), 3 great-grandchildren, and 9 siblings. Born in Loiza, Puerto Rico, on August 21st, 1943, she learned at a young age the value of hard work and helping others. She moved to Boston, MA with her family in the 1970’s before settling in Waltham, MA in 1981 helping her husband as he was named Pastor of the local Missionary Church of Christ. She was loving, caring, friendly, and a devoted Christian. Who loved to serve and help any way she could. Famous for her great cooking, she often helped with church conventions and activities. A great mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be greatly missed. Altagracia was laid to rest at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham on May 29th, 2020.
