Nancy Russo Santamaria,
July 19, 1932 to October 27, 2020
Nancy Santamaria of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 27th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family in her home at the age of 88.
Born on July 19, 1932 in Waltham, Massachusetts; she was the daughter of the late Francesca (Nicci) Russo and Sebastian Russo.
She leaves her beloved husband of 68 years Victor Santamaria of Manchester, NH; and three devoted & loving children. Daughter Gail Spaulding and husband Will of Hancock, MA, son Stephen Santamaria of Allenstown, NH, and daughter Diane Richard and husband Brian of Grafton, MA. Nancy also leaves her 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, her sister in law Betty Fox Russo and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister Carmela Russo Parisi and her husband Dr. Joseph Parisi, Her brother Anthony Russo, Her sister Rose Russo Womack and her sister Lucy Russo MacLellen and her husband Angus MacLellen.
Nancy was raised and educated in Waltham, and later attended Middlesex Community College in Bedford, MA. Nancy worked for Little Brown Book Publishing Company for 25 years, then worked for 5 years at New England Medical Records.
Due to the current spike in Covid-19 and out of genuine concern for the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in accordance with CDC, Federal, State and local guidelines in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Monday Nov. 2nd from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of Nancy's Life will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. followed by her burial at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Nancy to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Boston, MA.
