"Connie" "Chetta"
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Monday May 29th, 2023 in the comfort and the care of the staff at Sancta Maria Nursing Facility in Cambridge at the age of 96.
Connie to her friends and Chetta to her family was born on March 19, 1927 in Somerville; beloved daughter of the late Salvatore Pantano and Immaculata (Simenara) Pantano.
Connie was raised and educated in Somerville and had resided in Waltham for over 60 years.
She was employed at BLH Electronics in Canton for many years until her retirement.
In years past Connie was very active in the South Side Senior Citizen Club in Waltham and was an active, devoted and faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Waltham as a Eucharistic Minister.
She had many different interests and hobbies but none more than her love of dancing and singing.
Connie is survived by her dear sister Minnie Szykniej of Maine; along with several devoted & loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving siblings Josephine Palazzo, Ralph Pantano, Euginia Pantano, Rico Pantano, and Rose Linehan.
Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Connie's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at Saint Christopher's Catholic Church, 4 BARRELL LANE, YORK, ME 03909 on Friday June 2nd at 11:00 am.
All are welcome to join with family for Connie's burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in MEDFORD, MA on MONDAY June 5th at 12:30pm.
