Charles H. "Butchie" Bennett Jr.
Of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 9th, 2020 at the age of 56.
Born on April 9, 1963; son of the late Charles H. Bennett Sr. and Madeline (Collura) Bennett, Butchie was raised and educated in Waltham, moving to Florida many years ago to enjoy the warm weather.
He had been employed as a CNC Machinist for many years.
Butchie resided with his uncle Phillip Collura and truly enjoyed their time together. He loved the weather, going to the beach and swimming; and the simple things in life.
He was a wonderful brother, son and uncle.
Butchie is survived by his devoted & loving siblings; Victoria Casella and her husband Mark of Waltham, Stephen Bennett of Waltham; his cherished nieces & nephews Valerie and Emily Casella, Stephen Bennett, Jessica Bennett, Vanessa Bennett, and Nicholas Bennett; as well as a great nephew Ryan Weaver-Casella; and great nieces MacKenzie Weaver-Casella, Arianna Moreno, and Julia Bennett; and his sister-in-law Michele (Parent) Bennett. In addition he is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and dear brother James Bennett.
A Graveside Funeral Service in celebration of Charles Life will be held at Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street in Waltham on Wednesday afternoon April 1st at 12:00 p.m.
The Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home of WALTHAM assisted Charles family with arrangements.
