Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday March 3rd, 2020 in the Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 54.
Born on June 22, 1965 in Marlborough; daughter of Bernice (LeBlanc) Goguen and the late Norman Leger, Carol was raised in Marlborough and has resided in Waltham for the past 27 years.
Carol graduated from Assabet Valley High School and had been employed as a Retail Clerk and Manager at Payless Shoe Store in Waltham; Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Waltham; and for the past 3 years at BJ'S Wholesale store on Seyon Street in Waltham.
Her greatest love in life was her family; her second greatest love was the Christmas season and all things holiday; decorating the house and collecting figurines of Rudolph. She also loved to collect memorabilia of the television show Bwitch and the Flintstones.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years Joseph B. Carter; her devoted & loving children Samantha Marie Carter and her husband JeffreyGray of Waltham; and Matthew Colby Carter of Waltham; her loving mother Bernice (LeBlanc) Goguen and her step-father Norman Goguen of Florida; and her dear siblings Paula Leger of Marlbough; Joanne Smith of Hudson; and Norma Knowlton of Holden. In addition she is survived by many nieces & nephews.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours celebrating Carol's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday March 12th from 4 - 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
