Obituary for Judith Ann "Judy" Melanson (McAndrews)
Judith Ann Melanson 80, of Waltham Ma. passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Maristhill Nursing & Rehabilitation facility in Waltham with her family by her side.
Born on Tuesday, February 10,1942, to the late John and Velma McAndrews (Fraser).
Judy graduated from Waltham High School and has been a lifelong resident of Waltham. Where she raised her daughter Linda and son David.
Judy loved her family, especially her three grandsons Matt, Kevin and Dereck. She loved gambling and playing cards with the family, Michigan rummy and scat were her favorites. Above all, she loved being with family and friends.
Predeceased by her mother Velma McAndrews (Fraser), her lifelong partner Francis Hill, and her siblings, Richard McAndrews, John McAndrews, and Jean McAndrews.
Judy is survived by her daughter Linda Kadlec and husband Darrell Kadlec, Son David Melanson, Her 3 grandsons Matt Melanson and his wife Zoë Melanson, Kevin Kadlec and Dereck Melanson. She is also survived by her three siblings Thomas McAndrews and Marie, Sister Linda Gaudet and her husband George, brother Robert McAndrews and wife Patty, along with many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to gather and remember the love and friendship Judy shared during a Memorial Service in Celebration of her life on Monday, December 5th at 7 pm. A visitation will be held prior from 4 pm to 7 pm. In the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels located, 773 Moody Street WALTHAM, MA. Parking Attendance will be on duty.
