Marie “Mary” H. Mazzarini
Of Waltham, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Ellis Rehab and Nursing Center in Norwood.
Born on October 23, 1926 in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Sevrin and Sophie (Aucoin) LeLievre. Marie was a lifetime resident of Waltham.
Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, knitting and cruel stitching. She also spent time with her husband following the high school football and basketball teams, and also the Bentley University basketball teams. She made many friends while her husband worked the score board.
She was the beloved wife for 65 years to the late John F. Mazzarini. Loving mother of Donna Veilleux and her husband Paul of Walpole, John “Butch” and his wife Jo-Ann of Pennsylvania, Patricia Carvelli and her husband Paul of Maine, Michael of Foxboro, Thomas and his wife Annette of Carver, William and his wife Denise of West Townsend and Paula Riscolo and her husband Anthony of Waltham.
She was the mother of the late Stephen Mazzarini and sister to the late Pete, Albie, Joe, Alphonse “Skee” and Napoleon “Nap” LeLievre.
In addition, she is survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Mary’s Life at Saint Mary’s Church, 145 School Street, WALTHAM on FRIDAY morning Oct. 16th at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, and for those who wish to attend can do so in accordance with the Archdiocese of Boston, CDC, Federal and State guidelines.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Springwell, 307 Waverley Oaks Rd #205, Waltham, MA 02452, for the compassionate care provided to Mary in the past few years.
