Olive V. LaBranche

Of Newtonville, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning December 17th, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family at the age of 94.

Born on October 31, 1928 in Warren, New Hampshire; beloved daughter of the late Verne Dicey and Ella (Rollins) Dicey. Olive resided in Waltham for 20 years before moving to Newton and has been a resident for over 60 years.

Her family and her friends were always first and foremost; she was loyal, generous, kind, caring and compassionate. She brought all those qualities to her professional career as a dedicated & devoted Registered Nurse.

She is survived by her devoted & loving children Nancy LaBranche and Larry A. LaBranche both of Newton; her cherished grandson Keith LaBranche and his wife Nancy and 5 adoring great grandchildren.

Beloved mother of the late Gary LaBranche and Peter LaBranche and cherished grandmother to the late Stephen LaBranche.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Olive and her family can do so in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday morning Dec. 20th prior to the Funeral Mass from 9am until 10:30m. Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Olive's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning Dec. 22nd at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Road, WELLESLEY at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
