Judith Ann (Kelley) LeBlanc

Judi LeBlanc of Waltham & West Newton passed away peacefully on Friday March 15, 2024, she was 82 years old.

Judi was born in Waltham on March 30, 1941. She was the only child of the late Phyllis D. Connolly of Boston and Harold M. Kelley of Maynard, MA.

She lived in Waltham on Main Street and Brown Street during all her school years. She attended the Banks School, South Junior High, and Waltham High.

After graduating from high school, she went to work at the Raytheon Corporation. She was married to Joseph (Eddie) LeBlanc of Waltham. They moved to Richmond, Virginia for a couple of years which is where her daughter Wendi was born. They returned to Massachusetts and resided in West Newton when her second daughter Kelli was born. She lived on Adams Ave for many years and then moved back to Waltham. She lived on Kingston Road before retiring to the Hovey House on Crescent Street.

Judi worked part-time at the Waltham Racquet Club where she developed her love of playing tennis. She played for about seven years on teams and also for fun. She also worked at the Waltham Hospital for 20 years. She started as a ward secretary in the Emergency Department and later moved to the front reception desk until the hospital closed. She loved her job and all the wonderful people and doctors she met through the years.

Her husband was a Waltham Police Sergeant before being stricken with a cerebral aneurysm at the age of 40. He was neurologically disabled until his passing at the age of 64. She also cared for her father who lived to the ripe old age of 96 ½.
Judi leaves her two daughters Wendi and Kelli both of Waltham. She also leaves her aunt Carol and Uncle Scotty of Chatham, MA and all of her beloved cousins.

Family & Friends will honor and remember Judi’s life by gathering during visiting hours on Wednesday March 20th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a celebration of her life beginning at 12:00 p.m. in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapel, located at 773 Moody Street, Waltham. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Parking attendants will be on duty.
